Sunday Bouquet

Well it was a bit blustery today, and hard to keep a steady focus outside. Todays arrangement courtesy of lantana, Pink and white lady, society garlic, and periwinkle. They are all "going off" right now.

Three Tree Tryptyc-Santiago Canyon burn areas

Love thy neighbor...

I dont mind my neighbors as long as they dont mind me. On my right, they are particular people, accountants, fairly anal in nature...complained about an oil leak my truck had...said I parked over the property line and dripped on the asphalt...hmmm... asphalt is a oil based product and originally was as black as my oil stain. I should have been commended for cleaning up the dirt...

My homeowner association harasses me monthly... there is a rust spot embedded in my driveway and I must remove it...I scrubbed it out...but because I didn't return their form they assessed me $100.....where's the love.

They also sent letters about my blooming century plant in my front lawn. Its been there for more than 10 years and this was the second blooming. I had to remove it...not pretty enough for the neighborhood. I thought my Phallus Humongous Erectus was awesome. Maybe I was over compensating... too sexy for my street...heh heh...

On my left, they have an oak tree that drops acorns in my yard. I have a forest of seedlings taking root and I love it...its native...it thrives in drought...its hardy. It spreads and provides a nice canopy. I cant wait... 40 or 50 years...

Every weekend my yard is blooming in different corners. I make a Sunday Bouquet for my wife.
Its different every weekend. Its pretty cool. I need to photograph these...hmmm maybe I'll start next week...

Stay tuned...
